New Year Brings Big Questions: Are you happy – probably not – with your company?

Are you unhappy with your job, your employer or as a leader your business? Are you wanting to improve your situation? Whether you are an established employee looking to find a better job or a C-level executive trying to improve, CULTURE IS CRITICAL.

A conceptual road sign on challenges or obstacles

“…research compiled from over 3,000 leaders across 106 countries found that company culture and employee engagement are the most important human capital challenge confronting organizations…”

– The Culture Quotient

What is culture? Culture is the collective essence of its leaders and employees. Studies show that company culture and its level of employee engagement may be the most challenging issue facing businesses. Following the recent global pandemic, workers are frustrated and quitting their jobs at historical levels.

Naw, you say? Naysayers might claim that their employees are happy, their organizations are productive and that revenues are growing. Even if you are a driven, rock-star performer, you may ruin the environment for others or you will derail yourself. Or, naysayers might say they have a great strategy for growth. That might be naïve too. Even the famous management consultant, Peter Drucker, suggests that culture is critically important.

“Culture eats strategy for breakfast.”

– Peter Drucker

This website and blog explores performance through corporate culture, emotional intelligence, and the highest challenges of change management. I humbly offer 30 plus years of professional experiences – including a voracious amount of professional coaching, self-education and numerous change management efforts – on a humbling path to be better. Change management forces skill development through intense transparency and accelerated timelines. Those efforts have included merger integrations, platform build-outs and turn-arounds. I look forward to future dialogue.

Happy New Year!
